The White Horse is located in the picturesque village of Pleshey just 5 miles from Chelmsford and is reknown for it's good food and excellent hospitality. The pub is an integral part of village life and Mike & Jan Smail the licensees ensure your visit is an experience you'll want to repeat.

Food is available at all times during normal opening hours and ranges from traditional snacks to a fine A la Carte Menu. The recently introduced Lunch Set Menu at £11.95 is proving to be very popular with regular customers who enjoy dining in the quiet and relaxed atmosphere of The White Horse.

The White Horse is the ideal venue for anniversary celebrations, club dinners and business gatherings.
The open studded partitions between the rooms means that any size of party, from a small group or one of up to a hundred or so, feel the same sense of cosy intimacy engendered by the open fires and timber beams.

During the warmer months you can take advantage of the attractive beer garden, where occasionally BBQ's are held (weather permitting).

The White Horse also features it's own "GIFT SHOP" selling gifts, cards, condiments, sweet wines, Suffolk glass, second hand books and collectables. A permanent exhibition of watercolour and oil paintings by local artists is available for viewing with many for sale.

The pub is happy to host 'Coach Parties' but request that Coach companies book well in advance of their visit.
